Change in Sitowise's Group Management Team

Timo Palonkoski resigns from his position as Business Area Director of Buildings business area and as a member of the Group Management Team. Jan Tapper, Business Unit Director of special design services, temporarily takes over the business area director’s tasks as of 1.5.2023.

Timo Palonkoski has been in his position since September 2018. Previously he worked at Wise Group Finland Oy, a company preceded Sitowise, since 2012.

– Timo has had a diverse career at Sitowise and he has played an important role in the Group's turning points in recent years, such as the merger of Sito and Wise, several acquisitions and the company's IPO process. The post-corona years have been challenging for the Buildings business area due to market uncertainties, but we have managed to grow during challenging times, strengthen our special services, expand our customer base, and renew the organization to support nationwide cooperation. From here we continue developing the business area, and I would like to thank Timo for his committed work for Sitowise's success, says CEO Heikki Haasmaa.

Jan Tapper, who will take over the interim duties of the business area director, has been with the company since 2013. He has previously worked as a Business Unit Director of MEP engineering and special design services. He has also been responsible for the Buildings business area's acquisitions.

The recruitment process for a new Business Area Director has been started.
