Thermal Storage Finland implemented a unique hybrid thermal power plant. TSF's expert assistance in the project was provided by Sitowise's energy system design team from sketch lines to the final product.
The aim of the project was to design a new replicable hybrid heat pump product. Commissioned by Thermal Storage Finland, a digital model of the project was created to test and optimise the operation of the system. By using the model the final designs for the product were created. The digital model was used to study the effects and connectivity of different technologies and control methods. By utilising various technologies, the replicability of a hybrid thermal power plant is seen to have international potential.
The hybrid power plant consists of equipment placed in an old shipping container and hybrid solar panels.
